Hello Hello!
Phwooar, did I do a lot of lifting last week. The basement is nearly done, and I’m very happy to tell you that Date Night Boxes are back this week with renewed vigour.
I went to Barley Wood Walled Garden today (some of you may know, I try to get as much veg from here as possible, it’s just astonishingly good!) and this week’s boxes are jam-packed with delicious organic, locally grown goodness. I’m especially excited about the whole roasted sweet onions, and carrots… oh boy, the taste is so exquisite.
Sunday roast is also on this week too, of course 🙂
Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy this week’s selection, and see some of you at the weekend!

FRIDAY 26th & SATURDAY 27th JUNE / DATE NIGHT BOX for 2 / £29 / Collections 5-8pm
Kale, crispy marinated tofu, sesame seeds
Raw salad of radish, candystripe beetroot, celery, maple & wholegrain mustard vinaigrette
Collard green leaves stuffed with BBQ jackfruit
Whole roasted sweet onions & carrots with rosemary
Blueberry cheesecake with a toasted oat and almond crust

SUNDAY 28th JUNE / SUNDAY ROAST / £12 / Collections 12-2pm & 4-6pm
Roast potatoes, cranberry & quinoa seed-roast, squash wedges with crispy sage, braised red cabbage, seasonal greens, maple glazed carrots*, with a beetroot & red onion gravy.
*depending on availability there’s usually some roast beetroot or swede in here too 🙂
BROWNIES: Brownies are available every sunday now too! Just include how many you would like with your order (they’re £3.75 each)
