🌞 EYG Weekend Food: DNB / Picnic bags / Roasts 🌸


The past week (as well as the arduous last weeks of the house move) I’ve done another tiny wedding, and been tidying up the cafe and thinking about reopening in May properly. There has been a few emails from people asking if we are open now, so I should say something about that. To be completely transparent, because we are so small and due to staffing / re-stock / re-start costs, it just isn’t a viable option until we are able to utilise both the outdoor and indoor spaces. So, if you’ve been wondering – our projected re-opening weekend will be Friday May 21st!

From that weekend onwards, we will follow the same opening hours as before (advance booking advised for daytimes / on friday nights and sundays it is totally necessary). This is, in part, to make sure we can adhere to social distancing guidelines and keep everyone feeling safe and happy, both inside and outside of the cafe πŸ™‚ More on this in the coming weeks.

🌻 NOW TO FOOD… Date Night Box is back this friday, and by gosh it’s a tasty one. I made it whilst sat in the garden feeling hungry, so you know you’re in for a corker. Really lovely, organic produce from Barley Wood Garden featuring heavily in all menus this week.

β˜€οΈ Saturday is set to be 17 degrees and sunshiney, so I thought I would do some little picnic bags for you if you fancy sitting in a green space and soaking up the rays whilst noshing some tasty things!
