EYG NEWS this week

Morning all,

The last few days of my old house tenancy rather annoyingly happen to span this bank holiday weekend, so I will need to spend that time cleaning and finishing off the house, instead of cooking lovely food for you – which, in short, is pants. (But necessary.)

Next week Chelle and I are going to see my family in Shropshire; so the only food to order next week will be the sunday roast.

It is then only 2 weeks until we reopen! I can now take bookings for that weekend and beyond, and our opening hours (as they were last time we reopened in August):

___________________________________

Friday 10-3 / 6 – 10 (Supper Club, set tasting menu, £29pp for 4 courses / £32 with dessert. Booking essential)

Saturday 10-4

Sunday 12.30 – 6 (Sunday roasts only, booking essential)

We will have both indoor and outdoor seating available (looking at the forecast for the end of May it does look a bit grey, FYI!). In accordance with legislation / guidance: Social distancing measures will be in place like last time, facemasks and QR code check-ins are essential to enter the cafe (if you do not have a smartphone we will take down your details and keep hold of them for a maximum of 30 days).

Thank you all for your continued support throughout the last year – whether that’s been purchasing meals, sending me nice emails telling me about your weeks, encouraging and supportive words, leaving a positive review, saying hello when you walk past the cafe – it’s really been the thing that’s kept me going!

See you soon, and happy Beltane wishes for Saturday!

Babs x
